Where Korean games find their global voice. Arcend gives Korean studios direct access to AAA-quality English narrative and performance through a production model built for cross-cultural storytelling. We preserve story, character, and creative intent across the English-language experience, from the written word to final performance.

ABOUT
Arcend is an English narrative production partner for Korean game studios, working across both voiced and text-driven games. We help developers preserve story, character, and creative intent in English, from localized game text and publisher-facing materials to final voice performance.
ounded by a British AAA Writer and Voice/Performance Capture Director, and a Korean-American Producer, Arcend brings together narrative expertise, global production experience, and cross-cultural creative leadership. Our backgrounds across games, film, television, and international production shape how we approach every project: story first, with the English-language experience treated as part of the creative process rather than a final translation step.
For text-driven games, that means English editorial review, narrative adaptation, and LQA that respect the technical and visual constraints of the game. Character limits, text boxes, UI space, terminology, pacing, and readability all have to work without losing character, emotion, or story beats.
For voiced titles, we carry that same narrative foundation into performance through adaptation, global casting, voice direction, recording and audio QC. Korean development teams work with Arcend here in Korea while English-speaking actors record remotely across the UK and North America. Through live remote sessions, developers remain directly connected to the actors and creative process while Arcend leads the English-language performance and production.
Arcend works as an extension of the teams already in place. We collaborate with developers, writers, localization teams, external vendors, publishers, and audio partners, bringing in the right narrative, editorial, and performance expertise wherever it adds the most value and helping Korean games connect naturally with players and partners worldwide.
OUR PRODUCTION MODEL
Creative leadership in Korea.
Global expertise across text and performance.
One integrated team, built for global storytelling.
01
Narrative First.
Every project begins with the story. We first understand the original narrative, characters, emotional intent, and dramatic rhythm, then carry that foundation through every English-language decision.
02
Layered Review.
English narrative quality is built through perspective, not a single pass. Our process moves between bilingual and bicultural review, English narrative editing, direct consultation with writers and developers, and player-focused review, with each stage feeding back into the next.
03
Global Expertise, Built to Integrate.
From Korea, Arcend connects directly with experienced English-language editors, reviewers, directors, actors, engineers, and production partners across the UK and North America. We join the teams and pipelines already in place, maintaining one creative standard through delivery.

ENGLISH VOICE PRODUCTION
For voiced titles, the same narrative foundation continues into performance.
Arcend carries the English narrative through an integrated voice-production workflow built around story, character, authenticity, and creative intent.
NARRATIVE
ADAPTATION
We get involved
early.
Working from the source script or existing English localization, we consult with narrative and audio teams to identify structural or tonal issues before production, then adapt dialogue for character, emotional rhythm, cultural nuance, and natural performance.

IESH THAPAR
CO-FOUNDER | NARRATIVE DIRECTOR
"Great stories survive the journey."
That's been the focus of Iesh Thapar's career across AAA games, film, and television. As a Lead Writer, Narrative Consultant, Voice and Performance Capture director on titles including Dragon's Dogma II, Hitman III, Watch Dogs: Legion, 007: First Light, and Riders Republic, he has spent more than a decade shaping stories, characters, and performances for global audiences.
Working with studios including Ubisoft, Capcom, IO Interactive, Tencent, and Massive Entertainment, Iesh has led English voice direction, performance capture, and narrative development across international productions. His experience directing remote recording sessions with leading UK and North American actors gives Korean studios direct access to world-class English performances while keeping creative collaboration close to home.
Today, that same philosophy defines Arcend's approach to narrative production. Every script adaptation, casting decision, and performance is guided by one goal: preserving the creative intent, emotional truth, and impact of the original story.

SARAH OH
CO-FOUNDER | EXECUTIVE PRODUCER
"Great collaboration knows no borders."
Sarah has built her career around protecting creative vision across cultures. Working with writers, directors, actors, studios, and production teams throughout Asia, Europe, and North America, she has led international productions where every creative decision serves the creator's original intent.
Her work includes productions for HBO, Netflix, and Amazon, with films premiering at festivals including SXSW and the BFI London Film Festival. Producing across cultures has taught her that preserving meaning requires understanding not only what is said, but what is implied, felt, and left unsaid.
At Arcend, Sarah leads creative production and cross-cultural collaboration, connecting Korean studios with international talent and guiding projects from casting through final delivery. She brings a producer’s discipline and a storyteller’s instinct to every stage.
